All-Wales Therapists Network

All-Wales Therapists Network

Myf.cymru has established a Network of Welsh Therapists and Practitioners, aimed at supporting and providing training for Welsh speaking mental health practitioners within further and higher institutions across Wales. The network meets monthly and provides opportunities for members to:

  • create professional links with other organisations
  • share experiences and get support from their peers
  • share feedback on different aspects of their day-to-day work
  • receive information and resources through the medium of Welsh
  • attend training and update their skills and knowledge (CPD) thereby improving their skills in supporting students.

Examples of the types of topics covered during the training sessions include: eating disorders, supporting students with autistic spectrum disorders (ASD) and much more. All sessions are through the medium of Welsh and facilitated by a suitably trained practitioner with expertise in the subject area. If you would like more information, or to become a network member, please contact Endaf Evans, Welfare Services, Bangor University - endaf.evans@bangor.ac.uk
